Madrid, as Spain's capital, is a city of impressive, unique and famous monuments.

 

The city's highlights include its Medieval centre, (dating back to the Habsburg Empire) and its impressive Art collections, housed by some of the best museums in the world which include the 'Prado', the 'Reina Sofía' and 'the Thyssen-Bornemisza Collection', all displaying the best works of traditional and modern Spanish artists. But Madrid is not just a cultural destination. It is also a lively metropolis with many pubs, cafes, discotheques and nightclubs open until late at night. Don't be surprised if you get stuck in a traffic jam at four in the morning, as the people you meet are not necessarily going off to work. If you love shopping then Madrid is perfect for you, as it offers a wide variety of trendy shops selling the very latest fashion accessories and clothes.

Our Spanish language school is located in the heart of Madrid, in an 18th century palace, just a few steps away from the Prado Museum, Parliament and Retiro Park; an exceptional location. It comprises 14 air-conditioned classrooms, a beautiful courtyard, a multimedia room with internet access, a library and common areas for socialising. The Spanish language school was founded in 1982 and since then has successfully been running Spanish courses for students from all over the world. The quality of the Spanish course programme is guaranteed by the Cervantes Institute and by the University of Alcalá de Henares (Certification of quality CEELE). Students are able to book a 1 or 2 week Spanish course in Granada and additional weeks at our partner school in Madrid.

Standard Spanish Course (20 Spanish lessons per week), accommodation in shared flats with Spanish students or with other language students or host family accommodation with half board; single room.
